Who can join?
We are a friendly bunch, always open to new faces who want to have some fun, meet some new people and take part in performances. Whether it be in the organising of events and socials, marketing, costume and prop making, back stage, or front of house, we will try and accommodate your individual wishes and preferences. We usually rehearse at Fernwood Village Hall on a Tuesday evening. Pop along to a rehearsal, meet us, see what you think, and we can go from there!!
Shows
We do everything from pantomimes, to murder mysteries, appealing to a varied audience in Fernwood and surrounding areas. We usually do two performances a year, one during the February half term, and another in the summer. However, we sometimes break tradition and squeeze in an extra for charity, or just because we feel like it.
Socials
Our members are friendly outside of F.A.D.S as well, which is a fantastic opportunity for those who want to, to engage in social activities outside of the usual rehearsal schedule. We have several socials which we repeat year in and year out because our members love them, and are always thinking of new meet up opportunities. In addition, we try to provide smiles to members of the community who cant attend our shows; for example we often link in with the local care home through song which we enjoy, and so do they.
